Shared Living

Shared living is a powerful program that allows an individual with disabilities to receive care in the privacy of his or her own home or in the home of a host provider. This flexible arrangement takes a person-centered approach that is more natural and effective than many alternatives. While living together, the host provider plays an active role in supporting the participant in many aspects of daily living including safety, health, social interaction, spirituality, and citizenship.
